Celebrate San Antonio's love of the accordion and join us for this FREE annual all-star celebration on Saturday, September 12, 2015 from noon to 10pm at the Historic Arts Village La Villita in the heart of San Antonio's downtown riverwalk.

You don't want to miss out on this day of diverse musical styles and the inspiration of vibrant celebrations of cultural roots, cultural exchange and cultural connection from around the globe and right here in Texas. We will present sounds from near and far, from the New World to the Old, from the famously familiar to the fantastically unknown.  It's big, it's outdoors and it's dancing and fun for the whole family.

* The festival is held RAIN or SHINE *

Marion Jacobson is the author of "Squeeze This!  A Cultural History of the Accordion in America" (University of Illinois Press) and is on tour promoting the book, newly released on paperback.  Marion will be giving a talk at 6pm on Friday, September 11, 2015 at the Twig Book Shop, 306 Pearl Pkwy #106, San Antonio, TX 78215.
