Joel Guzman & Sarah Fox

Renowned accordionist Joel Guzman exhibited his talent for music at a very young age, earning him the childhood nickname, "El Pequeno Gigante." Today, as a highly accomplished musician, arranger and producer, Guzman consistently demonstrates his abilities as a fearless innovator. He expertly weaves elements of jazz, tejano, country, salsa, R & B, and rock into a fresh and uniquely individual sound while staying true to his roots in traditional Mexican music. Guzman's squeezebox skills are much in demand, resulting in collaborations with artists Joe Ely, Freddy Fender, Ruben Ramos, David Hidalgo (of Los Lobos) and many more. While his album credits read like a Who's Who of Texas Music, Guzman shines at the fore of his own group, The Mexican Roots Trio, alongside his partner Sarah Fox, whose sizzling vocals reveal a talent for songwriting and passion for music that rival Guzman. Together, Joel Guzman and Sarah Fox create their own personal brand of Latin Soul music, electrifying the stage and astounding audiences.
