Event Information

The International Accordion festival is going green!  This year we are making the festival a more environmentally friendly event.   We’ll still have great music planned but we’ll have recycling too. We  are asking festival fans to help by making an effort to place recyclables in the appropriate containers which will be provide at various locations throughout the festival site.   We are also asking festival attendees to travel green (Bike-Walk-Ride).  Below are some alternative options for getting to the festival.

 

Directions

La Villita Historic Arts Village is located at 418 Villita St., San Antonio, TX 78205 at the corner of South Alamo St. and East Nueva Street.

 

Bicycle

We encourage all of our fans to use the power of the pedal – by far the easiest and convenient way to get to the festival!  Bike racks are available for you to secure your bike on Alamo Street with plenty of lighting.  You must provide your own lock.  Take advantage of San Antonio’s Bike share program.  For Downtown Bike Routes visit http://downtownsanantonio.org/park

 

Public Transportation

Parking

International Accordion Festival is a free event. Visitors may find parking throughout downtown San Antonio, with parking lots, parking garages, and parking meters within walking distance to La Villita. Event Rules

In the interest of public safety (and so everyone can enjoy the festival), please note the following festival rules:

• No outside alcoholic and other beverages
• No outside food
• No coolers
• No tents
• No pets allowed(except service dogs)
• No video equipment. No video recording will be allowed
• No professional still camera equipment (cameras with detachable lenses, tripods, big zooms or commercial use rigs)
• No audio recording equipment
• No illegal vending is permitted. No unauthorized/unlicensed vendors allowed.
• No unauthorized solicitations, handbills, sampling, giveaways, etc.
• Small personal cameras and hand-held camcorders are acceptable; however, you may not videotape the performers.
