The Daddy Squeeze Trio

The Daddy Squeeze Trio is a fun and adventuresome group that believes having a good time makes great music even better. They can swing the standards, surprise their audience with a helping of musette and gypsy jazz or slip into jug band mode. Led by accordionist extraordinaire Dan Newton of Minneapolis, whose admiration for the accordion and its many sonic temperaments knows no limits, this trio of veteran musicians displays a versatility and that is belied by its size. Dan's solo accordion work is much sought after and he is heard frequently as an accompanist to the Guys All Star Shoe Band on Prairie Home Companion.
